can u do a video about ryzen 9 3900x?
Like AMD CPU just for great things... I think 4 core and 4 Threads is my favorite...
I using the processor
And now...AMD *puts 3950X in laptop*
Why would you game on a laptop? Battery lasts an hour.
Considering the price point of amd, Nintendo should work with them instead of Nvidia to make the switch pro with a custom made Ryzen laptop processor with an integrated RDNA2 GPU, it could be amazing considering how power efficient amd tech is 👌.
I'm using the Ryzen 7 2700u on my Acer Nitro 5 and it runs about 40-50% in games like GTA 5 or Doom
Hi! If it was changed, does Ryzen 5 1600x possible to upgrade?
Coffin : Intel Inside
Intel outside
Only $ 3,990 for 64 cores drop it on my wifes charge card haha
I have never liked Intel, Apple for a simple reason over priced and greed finally caught up to them. None the less i would never support neither. Even if Intel is better for gaming you can`t beat AMD price points for your money. I hope Intel files chapter 13.
Well i guess moore's law isn't quite dead yet.
AMD > Intel 24x7 365
INTEL: We have better performance only on sheets AMD: hold my beer
Bruh, I got a desktop and a laptop but my laptop is still running an Intel core i3 6100u xD 2 cores... CPUs are getting so crazy. Right now there is no use for it for the average Joe but I am wondering what this will mean for the average Joe in the future. Like, what can be added to functionality of computers?
The best Intel mobile has is the i7 1068G7 and it only reaches 4.1GHz on it's 4c/8t CPU 😑 Meanwhile the 4800H is 4.2GHz on 8c/16t 😃 Great job AMD!!
Just got a ryzen CES 2020 ad on a video about ryzen showcasing a chip at CES 2020
heii gaais thzz oooostinn
Intel is fucked, thank you AMD, you're insane ! I'm happy I went with 3700x.
All of the sudden I see these “hey this is Austin videos...” thanks LTclub. NOT!
Alienwear switching to AMD for a reason
Ryzen: *CORES ARE CORES* Intel: *yo let’s make the same cpu from 2 years ago*
I'm just hoping the thermals on the Ryzen mobile, considering all the power this chip has, doesn't impact performance negatively, and that the laptop manufacturers dont make stupid decisions, such as single channel ram or poor thermal design that throttles the processor. Both seriosuly screwed over previous generation ryzen mobile processors and impacted their perception of ability to perform.
the downside of Integrated GPUs is that they eat up you RAM, while you only use your dedicated GPU...
And my friend keeps telling me that AMD is bad and that Intel is better...
I've had my 3500u laptop for almost 2 months and it's been pretty good. Sure it's not setting the world on fire, but it has allowed me to play games that were unplayable on my previous laptops.
If we don't have competition, things are overpriced. Good job AMD.
neal brennan lite
The Alienware m15r2 is the best gaming laptop out here rn don’t @me
Intel will sure recover, but not this year, I feel like they have something in their arsenal that will blow AMD out off the water
prossors
Amidst this AMD uprising, I'm here sitting with a recently bought used i7 3770/GTX 780ti configuration. To me, considering what I used to have this is almost 3 times better upgrade, for a decent price too!
congrats on 4 mil dude, btw i hope they do the same that they did for that x570 board and compare it with tb3 (4 lanes & pd charging). a laptop like this could be a killer
So will I be able to replace my 3700U with this new CPU?
Scotty Kilmer vibes from that title
I bet a custom version of this that hybrids Vega and Navi is gonna power the next gen consoles
You're harry potter of tech, the kid who survived
running with a ryzen 7 2700 and i sill love it! IDC if im biased rn, but Amd will always be my favorite company regardless if intel is still superior. amd cares more about the consumer with their bang for buck chipsets and thats what everyone needs for starting out on making a pc. not everyone can afford what intel has to offer, good for team blue for being the most powerful, but hats off to amd for putting their minds in the consumers.
Hopefully manufacturers will **actually** manufacture AMD based laptops, and not just make a few demo units and never ever touch it again as they've done in the past.
shit is crazy, i haven't built a computer in like 10 years... I come back on the scene last year and build a new rig for about $1300 and the performance absolutely blows my mind... now I am hooked on following new and upcoming parts and I am thrilled, what an exciting time to be alive! I kept thinking I was going to upgrade my cpu to a 2700, and then the 3700 came out so I thought I'd wait for price drop on that...but now zen 3 is just around the bend so... wtf!! i should just wait another year for zen 4 lmao
/sub great videos, I'm hooked.
Durability issues. I don't want to spend $2000 on a g14 and see it die in 2 years. I keep my laptop for a minimum of five years.
AMD processor will be available in my next generation laptop (an i5 7200U user said)
Think of the day when AMD enters mobile phone market
Intel trash 🤢
Join the cult
Extra cores could be used for video editing
Intel, might wanna re-think the lazy greedy method of operation, quickly.
Are these compatible with external graphic cards?
Wouldn't it be crazy if the reason behind intels "slacking" is bc they have something new and never seen before? I dont support one over the other, but it does seem strange that they would go south so quickly.
can you buy the AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile seires chip and put it in a laptop? cause if that is possible ill do it!
They ripped the competition in work station workloads not in games. ces is for games NOT workstation and workload uses. Intel is king in gaming end of.
Amd getting better will make intel better because intel won’t be able to continue doing the ridiculous shit they have been doing because their competitor is doing better for less.
Hi there too
He's voice make me remember Steve tereberry when he say taka taka taka taka that exactly how I hear it right now
intel is in massive trouble.. this is what they get laughing at amd's Chiplets+Ducktape. Edit: if i were AMD's CEO.. i'll skyrocket the prices if intel truly can't compete anymore.. anyone agree.. or did you guys start to think that competition from intel is important too?.
So you can game without like a rtx 2080 etc
Did they removed the IO cache? Could be why they are calling it 4000 instead of 3000m. bet the memory latency is low.
*sigh* remember when atholon and pentium were the gaming cpus.... those were the days
I'm really interested to see what happens with Zen 4, since I imagine that they will crank up the core count there. Just picturing a 12 or more core count laptop makes me drool a lil bit
did you used to play war commander ?
That stutter tho 0:42 look at the laptop screen
RIP Shintel
Red was my favorite color anyway.
now my 2500U laptop are very old compared to this lol
And they also have to maintain their market on graphics cards... it’s pretty incredible
1:41 they both won't get _HyperThreading(tm)_ but one of them will get SMT
I would like to see the Nintendo switch pro with this cpu
The funniest part of the video is when he cannot think up any valid reason for buying the 64-core CPU even though he tried very hard.
Linus: sees plastic case "Well well well, where is my regional rep..." **pulls out iFixIt kit from his pocket.**
if it has 288mb cache? can I install Quake 1 onto a cpu? Quake 1 is like 50mb
AMD has long believed in parallel processing but was trapped in high-end Intel clock speed, but has now succeeded in relying on its own slogans. Hopefully, with AMD's entry into the world of laptops, we'll see improvements like PC processing success. Best price and performance for AMD I still have my old home computer with AMD Athlon xp 3200 AMD processor and this is my nostalgia
👍👍👍
Imo, their design is retarded. How is 8/16 supposed to work in 15w environment? OH WAIT IT GOT VEGA 8 TOO... Intel cant make 4/8 work on their super-refined 14+++++++++++. You cant double the core and gpu and say "it works". No way it works. 2 cores at 3ghz + 6 cores at 1.2ghz? Why not just go with 45w????
Congrats 4million subs🖤
I wish Dell was offering the new XPS 13 with an AMD option, but maybe it's still too soon?
Cant wait for the g serie
Yes bro, we're watching your videos :D Congrats on the career that you've made, been watching so long I forget..
catchy subject nice try you caught many of us
64 cores or 64 bit? Im confused.....Wait with hyperthreading? 128t? Its 128 bit right ? haha
That's nice. Bragg about AMD when they actually know how to make their drivers work properly 🤣😂🤣😂
XEON used to be pure extortion...
Year 2020 Intel = i am the big guy AMD = reverse card
1:20 Tell them that your name is Austin Evans and not Linus Sebastian
3990 = three thousand.. Well.. 7:15
But can it fry steaks???
Prick..
And is just wrecking intel with ryzen. I’d seriously prefer an AMD processor over an intel now - not only for price, but also for performance.
@intel, no matter how good you think you are there's always an Asian better than you 😂
my 3700x is insane
An 8 core 16 thread laptop is cheaper than nuc element? Sign me up. Sure the 45w mobile is no 95w 3700x I’m guessing for production it will smoke most laptops out there. And it has 7 vega cores too. Sweet
Time to revisit oldboy?
I saw u highlighted the comment can u tell what does that mean sir am I in trouble😔
Bravo! I love AMD :)
Now all we need is some real competition for Nvidia - we got raped by Nvidia for the past FIVE years. 💩
Intel i7 i8 and i9 have plenty of cores lol
And here I am still rocking an Athlon 64 X2.
Running on Ideapad s540 with Ryzen 3700u it is fast and I just can't imagine with 8/16 CPU ;0
AMD: *Stonks*
